Just finished my first mod. Installed an actuator in the tailgate and wired it to the electric door lock,
Not very complicated but it did take me a few hours.
Now the tailgate lock like the other doors.
I found the actuator at Princess Auto in Ottawa for $10 so pretty cheap mod for the benefits.

I used this as a base

The only differences were the wire colors that I got from the drivers side and mounting the actuator.
Wires for the 09 were Gray/Black to lock and Lt. Blue/Lt. Green to unlock.
The hardest was mounting the actuator so it didn't interfere with the rod that opens the tailgate. I will take a pic tonight and post tomorrow.
It took like 4 hours but if I had to do it again and I will, I figure 1.5 hours max.
