THe computer that controls the Compass and Temp Gauge in the upper console( roof) has stoppped working.
I have taken the console out and the wires seem okay and after you re-snap the connector back together it works for about 5 minutes.
Is it possible to by-pass the connector and hardwire the unit?
I was amazed at the $314 price for a new unit, especially since I don't think it is the computer itself just a loose connector or wire.
Any help appreciated.
