I went to Misener's dyno days today and was surprised at the numbers the
Lightning put down 366.68 rwhp 402.18 rwtq .The only mod I've done is a cai, so
for a pretty much stock truck I was pretty happy and now I've got a baseline
for further mods

Nice #'s for pretty much stock. You don't need alot of work to make big time #'s in those things
nice! what was your A/F at? Temp?

nice! what was your A/F at? Temp?
The temp in the shop was only 72* with 40% rh the print out I have doesn't
show the A/F ratio. I was too busy listening to the blower scream to watch
the computer screen. It was the first time I got to listen from the outside
of the truck. Man that blower screams at 5 grand.
Can't wait to put on the 4# pulley I bought from you.
Picked up some NGK TR6's as well, but I think I better pull the blower
and clean my intercooler before I do anything.
Ya definatelty pull that sucker off, if you need a hand let me know, the last 2 torque yield bolts on the blower are a nightmare as they are right under the firewall. As long as you're careful, the gaskets and bolts can be re-used. I wouldn't mind making a trip out there. I am assuming you're storing it for the winter? If so, best time to pull it.
The temps for your pulls were good, hot air KILLS our trucks, I don't even like driving mine when it's hot oustide cuz it's so doggish that it's disappointing.
Who's going to tune the truck? Find a handheld?

I talked with Jay @ Miseners about tuning the truck and I think I will let him do it. With
the 4# I'm not too scared. He said he can put a real safe tune on it and he's an SCT
dealer, his shop is only 10 minutes away from me. He's a Ford guy and has done 2 other
built Lightnings. Jay seems to have a good reputation in the area, and after seeing some of the cars he built at the dyno day I think I can trust him. Jay ball parked the price for the tune @ $700 which included the SCT x3 which I thought was cheap
P.s. MJG I would welcome any help you're willing to give. If you need to do any work on
Your truck as well ,bring it on down I have a large shop with a hoist.
I may just have to take you up on that offer, truck's too darn low to do anything anymore.
$700.00 for the handheld and dyno tune? That's a fair price, I would go for it.
I may even enquire about his shop rates to remove and install a built shortblock for me.
I think you should grab a built block at the same time to knock down shipping costs lol

Just pm me if you need the shop and I think you'd be happy with Jay's work he told
me the last Lightning he did it was easy to lift the cab off to install the motor
Great, always good to know.
Now once you get that blower cleaned and the pulley & tune, all that's left to do is lower that 4x4 some!

Yea I know I've got to get this thing lowered. Just can't decide which way to go.
Probable just the frpp kit and pull out the extra leaf these 03-04's have
The FRPP kit won't net you much in the front, you could take out the ISO's to get you more of a true 1.5". Pulling a couple leafs should be fine and definately lessens the bounce of the ride, but don't plan on loading the pickup too much!

Heard mixed opinions on the Belltech spindles. It depends on which version you get as to
how much work they will be to install. I would like to have seen your truck, was I at the
body shop next door? I was impressed with that guys 89 to 03 cobra conversion and the
paint on his GSXR. I think I was the only member to attend.
