what's really funny about the new trucks is that at least until the last little changes is that even the boxes were made out of fibreglass. Now you've got all these guys making speed trucks out of them and the funniest thing is that if they were made out of steel like my truck is they would be even faster because steel weighs less than fibreglass! And in the 1/4 mile every 100lbs less bodyweight is equal to 1/10 of a second! :no-no:

Haha! The Pre forum was my idea. I have a particular sof spot for Pre's, as do most Pre owners!!!!! The Pre forum is one of the most active forums on FTW, so I thought it would be a good idea to have one here.

No pics?!?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU??? Haha! Just kidding. Get us some pics as soon as possible man.

I think a classic is 25 years old, or 30 years old, or something. Pre's go back as far as you want!!

I love the pre's!! My first was a 1989 shorty shorty 4x4 with a 302 what a fun truck and full of power! needless to say beat the piss out of her mudbogging, body pretty much fell off! 2nd was a 1995 4x4 long box 302 again drove her for a year had fun in the mud engine got tired and same story as the first one body got really tough. Now proud owner of a 1994 2wd, single cab long box with 302 body in decent shape gonna keep this one for a while. I should mention all these trucks were purchased around the 800 dollar mark so I can't complain.

The Pre's are GREAT TRUCKS!!! Ive had my 89 F250 since i was 13!!! Im currently putting in a shiney new 302 and while working on that project im driving my 94 F150 with a 4.9 I6.... Love these trucks.. As much as i like the new fords, the older one truely FEEL like a truck... cant beat it!!!

I really love the PRE's because they actually have real lines. My previous 86 F250 and now my 90 F350-dually are great trucks with real lines.

It just so happens I have a similarly aged sports-car, and I also love the lines on it. And by lines, I mean the puppies actually have real edges, not just curves. Just as men can have chiselled faces that show character, so it is with these vehicles.

Sure, curves may be nice for fuel economy, but nothing beats a car with real manly lines on it.

Ever notice that girls personally prefer sports cars and trucks with curves? Not so many like them with lines? Look at the Miata for example. Most are driven by women, and men who drive them usually get hassled - often for being softies.

There is nothing like being manly in a truck made for men, that are appreciated by men, and are driven predominantly by men.

And for those women who say "hey! I like them PRE's too!", I'd like to congratulate you on your very good taste. :)
