Would replacing my 4 cats on my 98, f 150,4x4, 4.6 ,5 speed benafit me at all ?? no promblems with the cats now just want to know ?

hi flow cats would help your performance but not by a huge amount

it would make your truck lighter because your wallet would be thinner!jk you would have to make sure they are smog legal in your area.:)

my bf cut my secondarys out and just knocked the junk out of the primarys. I get way better fuel milage now and my truck sounds alot better, mind ya i have a flow pro mx muffler too. But i live in Alberta so there is no e test. but ya it did help my 2003 f150 4.6 alot. it was quite gutless before and now it's good.

only problem on a 04+truck would be they have upsteam/downsteam o2sensors,so you would have to install simulators or you would have a check eng lamp on,besides when they bring in mandatory testing here(wont be long)your screwed!

Actually he bought some bungs from the local muffler shop and put the sensors back in. Also if you have a chip you can clear any codes

this is true but the lamp will keep coming on because the rear sensors are a catalist monitor so if it sees the rears in sync with the front will trigger a catalist monitor code and posible failure effects mode(reduced power output)
