Looking at different options of lowering my truck.

All 3 companies use different methods.
I'd preferable still like to be able to tow a trailer.. possible a 25ft travel trailer. ~6500lbs-7500lbs loaded.

I think these are the only 3 out there.
What do you have/had?
What's your experiences?
Any 09-10 lowered trucks on here?

Did you ever haul anything?

I've heard you notice the back saging with only couple hundred pounds.??

Contemplating adding air bag assists, as I plan on pulling a trailer once in a while.

not sure but if beltech made a system id go for them have had no issues with mine and towed a 5000lb trailer (yeah with the done up truck)

DJM also makes quality stuff

Yes, but nothing of any great weight, no more than 700lbs.
If you decide to get the DJM kit make sure you get everything, once the axle is flipped the loss of the spacer block will definitely 'slam' the back end and you must get the appropriate lifting brackets to make the truck 'sit' properly.
If you plan on pulling a trailer, (depending on size and weight), then personally I wouldn't recommend lowering the truck.

how much are you planning to lower the truck?

2/4 kit.

the DJM kit is a control arm set that relocates the front struts so you keep the factory ride
the rear is a flip kit and lift shackles to offset the 6" flip kit.. then add a set of lowering shocks the the back because of the shorter travel..

I was contemplating adding either SuperSprings or a airbag assist to keep it from saggin too much.
I only plan on pulling a trailer maybe once or twice a year right now. maybe in the future years more when I buy my own. Currently I would just borrow my parents when it isn't in use.

I want to keep factory ride qualities. Belltech has a 2" strut assembly for the front but I'm sure it is stiffer ride as the spring will be shrunk to accomdate the lowering.

Ground Force has a 2/4 kit but it is out of my price range.. Also it replaces the current springs so I'm sure it woud be a stiffer/ performance driven suspension.

As for the Airbag assist.

I could install them and pipe the lines to a simple air fitting with shut on/off valve and pressure gauge. I don't think I would need a pump and all the fun stuff as I wouldn't need to air them up very often.

I have the Bell-tech drop in my 03. The quality is great, and the price ain't bad ether. Go with a shackle rear drop, It wont affect your towing.;)

well i put drop shackles on the truck about a year ago.
All was good unless I put any weight in the back.. then the ass of the truck sagged.
