Entries closed Nov ROTM!!

fordtough.ca members....time to grab those digital cameras and fire up those creative pictures!!

Submissions are now being taken for ROTM for November 2012......submissions open until Thursday Oct 25 @ 16:00 EST, and voting until Tuesday Oct 30 @ 16:00 EST.

Basic guidelines are :

1. Minimum 10 posts to enter contest.
2. Same truck cannot win twice in calendar year.
3. Members may enter and win for as many different vehicles as they own.

Once again, I'm offering up an exclusive, ford tough.ca decal to the truck voted first by their peers.

Voting is based on the ride, not the pic, so knock yourselves out on the pics that show off your ride the best....exterior, interior, spare tire...whatever.

That's a cool hat. I figure I'm going to try and win it and to be different, I'll try do it with some old scanned pics. These pics are from around 1985-90. When I was 18 or 19, twelve hundred bills got me my first 4x4, a '75 F-250 "High Boy". It had a 360ci, a 4-speed, a "divorced" t-case...and four fuel tanks! It was an ex-logging truck that they used for fire patrol. I pulled three homemade tanks out from under it and kept the factory tank, that was behind the seat. And then I took it back in the bush, to be beat on! Lot's of memories with the truck that came to be known as "Rambo".

It started out with this color (don't know what it is...some kind of puke...I'm colorblind):

Then, after a couple of cases of beer and some spray bombs:

To Tremclad black when it was time to sell:

Thanks in advance, for your votes.

The one in the front is/was an '85 Volks Jetta. Under the cover, my '76 Nova SS.

Awesome...my first car was a '77 Nova with the 250 straight six that never let me down.

Loved that car, still miss it to this day. Off topic, but if you've got pics of your Nova ('76 was the last year for the Nova SS), I'd love to see them.

Whatever you get is good for me Andy...I don't see many Nova's of that era anymore, so any pics are neat to see.

Bump to the top for ROTM entries....two days left. Did I mention the hat ?
