Kudos to local tire shop

I just came back from my local tire shop in embro. From when I got my truck I could feel a vibration in the rear end, I had seen and heard people complaining about driveshafts and didnt think much if it. Well today I went to see about getting my tires balanced and after about 2hrs work they got them done. The rears were out huge and what they did was rotate the tire on the rim to get it closer, so that I didn't have 6oz of weight on the rim. Now the reason I stopped in was to see if they could do my wheels as they had a sign out front about now selling foose wheels and fuel along with others. So talking them up got a few prices and seem real good.

I know guys have gotten tires recently so here an example of their price. Nitto terra grabber 35 x 17. $385 if I remember correctly. I'm going to define toy let them price out. Ine when they are due for replacement.

Hey Craig thats good to hear they fixed your vibrator problem, it would get a bit scary at high speeds with a bad vibrator. Keep us posted on your rim & tire pricing and pictures gotta have pictures.

Goes to show that some tires could be the issue!! Glad to see it's all fixed.

Back in the day we always used to pop the bead and rotate the tire a 1/2 turn if the tire was between 1.5 and 3 oz. Back then the lead weights were pretty crappy and the larger they were the better chance you would loose one. We referred to it as Matched Balanced, trying to get all the tires to similar weight add-ons.

I just purchased 4 Michelin Pilot Sports for my 02 Pony, they were able to balance them perfectly with small enough weights to hide them behind the spokes on the rim.
