Manual gear help

Hi guys I have a 2010 ford ranger 5 speed manual it won’t go in gear when parked ? if I turn the engine of without leaving it in gear then then it won’t go into gear very easy? But when the truck is driving it goes into gear very easy need help or a answer on what it needs before taking it to a garage please and thanks

Welcome aboard. Transmission Oil change is probably required. You are pushing the clutch in when doing this? If the oil level has been too low for too long, it may need a rebuild.
