1992 Ford F250 XLT 460 Gas Advice

Hey all,

New to the forum, I am in the market for another work truck, and I've owned a 97' F250 351 before and loved that truck. Now I am looking at buying this 92' F250 460. My question is does anyone have any experience with these big block engines and what you guys can say about them? Are they worth buying or should I steer clear of them completely? The truck in question has 244,000kms it's passed all the inspections (out of province, etc.)

Plus if there is anything else you want to mention regarding these gas engines I am all hears, I love these 9th generation heavy duty trucks.

Look forward to reading the responses, cheers.

Welcome aboard. Had an '83 f250 with a 460 at work. Finally died around 450000km due to lack of maintenance. Bit of a gas guzzler but it was carbureted.
