Sending my thoughts and prayers to the Flood Victims

Just hoping all of you and your families are staying strong and dry through all of this flooding. Luckily I'm in Taber, about half an hour east of Lethbridge...and the Old Man river is a few kilometers out of town and way down in the coulees. So we haven't got hit nearly as bad as the other areas in Alberta.

Praying for you all in High River, Calgary, Canmore, and all the other affected areas.

This is about as bad as it has been so far in Lethbridge... Bad but nothing like the other towns.

Just devastating.... Like I said good luck to all of you, and stay safe.

The area I live in is virtually unaffected by it. We live in Aspen on top of a big hill thankfully. Both mine and my girlfriends workplaces have been hit hard as we both work really close to the Elbow river. The place we used to live in, in Bowness is gone. The power of water is amazing. I'm heading to work right now to see what can be done. Travel is nearly impossible at the moment, on Friday there were only 1 or 2 bridges open to cross the Bow and Elbow Rivers.

Glad to hear you are OK herbz. Yes Mother Nature is all powerful. I guess High River is really bad. I have a niece down there. They missed any damage in the last flood but really got hammered on this one. Good luck and take care.
