Lookin For some tame trails around Calgary?

Lookin for some fun trail drivin around the Calgary area.
I know of Waiparous and MaClean Creek, but am more lookin for something that's not gonna bang up my truck too bad....Just got her and it's barley got 2000 k on it.

Just finished adding the Nitto Muds and Levelling Kit, so I can handle the mud, just not lookin to be crashin through the trees just yet..

Some uphill stuff would be pretty cool.
Would love to try out the 4-low and do a little climbin..

There are a few trails in the Ghost River area, a bit passed Waiparous. Nice little place, but some of the trials might be a bit tight...

I used to wheel my 150 there all the time. It's not too bad, you just have to be carefull about it. Mclean is pretty fun too. Those are the closest then there is the Indian Graves area but thats a couple hours drive. Or you could drive out here and I'll show you some fun spots

Just don't go out alone (meaning have another truck of equal size to pull yours out) bring some recovery straps and you should be fine. Oh and don't forget the camear because we want pics

You cant go to Indian graves anymore, its quads and dirtbikes only, get caught and you get a big fine, oh and the wardens are there all the time. Be careful out at waiprous, because some of it is shut down to trucks now too.

Didn't know about Indian Graves, been a few years since I have been down there. Thanks for the update. I have the map of the Wiaprous/Ghost area and most of the trails I used to do are still open to trucks. The best advice is to stop and read all signs that you see, if your not allowed there the signs will say so.

theirs a pretty big mud pit out in the industries area on 62 Ave N.E. calgary but beware bring friends, some spots look dry, and they turn out to be huge bogs, got stuck twice out their, but that was with a stock truck.

Deerfoot trail rocks, lots of broken down crap to run over and avoid, and the pot holes are massive, they would swallow a small car. And its right in your backyard.
