Need Vehicle Inspection Advice -- Edmonton

Howdy,
I've recently re-located to Edmonton from BC, and it's time to get off my butt and get an AB licence plate. That means I need to get a safety inspection. (Personally, I don't see the point. My truck is still under factory warranty with less than 40k. BC has the same thing.)

Can any of you guys around Edmonton recommend a shop or mechanic they like? I'm not looking for a discount -- I'm just anal about strangers fiddling with my truck. I'm in the north end of town, but I don't mind going for a drive.

Please leave a reply or PM me. I appreciate any help!

Thanks

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

I had mine done at the Mazda Dealership in the west end. It was fast and they did a good job of fixing what needed to be fixed (under warranty of course!) for the truck to pass. It's hard to believe a truck with less than 10k on it had stuff that needed to get fixed but it did...

When I got mine done (about 3 years ago now...) the price was about the same everywhere, around 140$.

4 yrs ago I got mine done at Crappy Tire ... NEVER again. Take it to a dealer or at least someone who knows what they are doing. Oh, they charged almost dbl Spider007's price. Fortunately, work paid for it but thats not the point.

Get a dealer.

Freedom Ford (75 street and 75 avenue) southside.

Denny Andrews (182 street and Stony Plain road) westend.

Healy Ford (106 Avenue and 102 Street) downtown.

Good luck!
