Retiring the old girl next week

As of next Friday my 96 will be off the road. Bought another truck so now I'm gonna turn her into a drag truck. Time to start working on the 429 I have sitting in the barn

I bought a 96 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 with a 5.2 with only 157 000km on her. Truck is absolutely mint, fully loaded with all the toys, Pioneer Premier deck, Cerwin Vega amp and a Cerwin Vega 12" sub. Not a Ford but I couldn't pass up the price I paid for a truck this old with this low of km

Garage
I had to hide this from the gf. She wants the d-o-d-g-e for parts for her d-o-d-g-e. It wouldn't happen to have hemi heads on the 429 would it?

Yup it would. Motor is out of a 69 Boss 429 stang. The car was unfixable so I salvaged the motor out of it. They are actually semi hemispherical stock heads. Wish they were the aluminum heads that were available in 1970
