Talking Been a while

It has been a couple month since I have been on here. Work has been busy as usual and just plain old winter hibernating

Today there is a special reason I came back though.

Meet the new Hogdust

2012 Raptor Supercrew. Made a deal for her today and picking her up on Tuesday. Going to be a long weekend

The Truck is a Demo with 19,xxx km. She is fully loaded with every option. The test drive made me realize how slow and lazy the 5.4 is in my 2010 Raptor. The Truck just pulls so much better and passing on the Highway is way easier.

Looking forward to the next meet (If I can read the time and place properly )

Well hot damn Martin, welcome back, good to see you, congrats on the new ride, love it !!! (Big surprise right ??)

First mod should be to get rid of those orange reflectors on the mirrors. lol

I'm guessing you'll be running 91 octane, the computer is tuned for premium or regular, but it really does run better on the good stuff.

Awesome. Looking forward to some side by side pics at the next meet !!

Those reflectors do stand out a lot more with the Black colour.
Do you get noticeable better mileage using 91? I have always put 87 in my current one, not sure I want to spend the extra if I do not have to. In the Shelby I don't have a choice.

This new Truck has a front camera, cooled seats, electronically folded side mirrors, remote start (I believe) and lots of other little things I don't have at the moment.

The exhaust is to quiet, so that will have to be addressed down the road.

Truck just plain runs better on the 91, and really....filling up with premium costs less than $10 a tank more than regular.

I often mock some of the guys with the Ecoboost's when they bitch about their mileage.

I average 15L/100km running 91, and have gotten as low as 13L/100km pure highway.

Try a couple of tanks of each, but what you're going to save in fuel costs by running regular amounts to f*%k all. IMHO.
