Exhaust Changed

Took the Truck to Hot Rot Scott's today to have some exhaust work done.

First they cut the existing piping from in front of the resonator, and removed all the stock stuff including the existing tips. On the 2010 Raptor I kept the stock dual tips and pipes but this time I just wanted a single tip coming out. They custom fabbed new stainless steel piping with a Flowmaster Super 44 Muffler in the center of the Truck and a single 3" tip coming out in the stock location. I did not want a shinny tip so I had them paint it black.

Truck now sounds a lot better when I get on it, but with regular city driving it is not to much.

Here are a few pictures I took during the install, with my phone.

Looks good Martin maybe when you get some time you could do a sound clip for us, and looks like they where carefull not to get over spray on the truck if you don't mind me asking what might that have cost ? And what size is the piping ?

Hey, that didn't take long Martin, congrats on the new mod !!

I checked out a few sound clips on youtube, sounded pretty good, but I'll have to check it out in person at the next meet & greet !

Grant - I'm going to say 2.5" piping with a 3" tip.

I paid $600 cash, to tax. 2.5" piping with the 3" tip is correct.

I will have to work on the sound clip

Kool clip Martin but how the hell did you attach the camera to your bumper ?
Think I may just have to price out one of those mufflers being I'm not running a muffler
