Another Bronco for the coral

I know I wasn't going to buy any more broncos, but this one kind of called to me, when I saw the seller beginning to part it out.

its a 94 Eddie bauer with a solid axle swap in the front and a 10.25 rear.
the price is right and I want to 6cyl 5spd it anyway . going down Sat evening to pick it up, and the boss hasn't said yes/no/nothing, just gave me a big grin.

it will be an offroad specific vehicle, maybe licenced maybe not. it will be getting a detroit locker in the front and a dana 70 powerlock rear. 5.13 ratio.

i'll be watching for some 35-37" tires, probably 16" wheels.

have lots of stuff for sale and slowly moving, but I had to buy this!!!!!!

I can't believe she didn't even give me a hard time about another bronco.
she's definitely a keeper.

started out for Welland at 2pm ish, didn't even get to guelph and turned around. too slippery and windy for a race down the busy QEW. probably would have blown me off the Burkington skyway.

sending the seller some cash to hold it for me. I've met him before and he seems a pretty good guy, not too worried about losing my deposit.
it has a dana60 kingpin front on leafs in it.
i was going to sell him a set of F350 front leafs this summer, but the bronco got pushed onto a back burner.

i'm toying with the idea of an idi 6.9 or 7.3 for it but ......................

had an 88 Eddie bauer with a 6.9 C6 in it a bunch of years ago and it would pull 20 mpg no matter how hard I pushed it or pulled with it .
maybe I should freshen up my 7.3banks powerpacked motor and E4OD from my Centurion and put it in this one, that would make it scat

have my list of vehicles down to 10 that i want to keep after my cleanup/scrapout is done. this new member is on that list

this is a very small list considering I had well over 40 before the fire. hey addictions are hard to break.

What the hell i'm up and bored and i think you guys can appreciate my list:

no laughing now..........

my leftovers and what they will become when complete.

1993 Red Bronco w/softop. (2003 7.3 PSD w/4r100) 2wd lowered
1991 C350 4x4 Centurion, converted to supercrew shorty. 94 4door cab,97 7.3 PSD w/ZF 5spd.
1994/5/6 (can't remember which it is in Welland) 7.3idi banks powerpack turboed w/E4OD.

1995 Taurus wagon w/SHO 5spd powertrain and lowermouldings. spare SHO/5spd powertrain in storage
1985 Mercedes 300TD wagon (southern body) wifes summer car to be

1967 M700 Mercury on 98 F800 chassis (future container/tilt&load) 5.9 cummins 6spd ?
1968 M250 crewcab shortbed 2wd on 79 F250 chassis(engine/trans. to be determined at a later date)
1970 F250 crewcab shortbed on 78 supercab frame
1969 F100 shorty 2wd 429/460/521? lots of compression, airport gas

I figure on 1 or 2 parts vehicles 67-72 Fords, my first love in life

i will probably have a highway trailer full of parts and stuff too.

the rest will be scrap or sold off bit by bit.
if we get the place we are looking at I have parking for at least 6 of my vehicles, but the 5 ton won't be able to hide.

will be around 25% of what my original collection was this time last year.

cheers James

To beat most addictions you have to go cold turkey and you know that's not going to happen! Bronco project looks interesting. Wife didn't say anything because she wants the new property. Happy wife, happy life.
