look at a dolly , come home with a truck???

well today I went to look at a tow dolly thinking it would make my hauling stuff to the bunker cheaper and delivering some of my toys cheaper too.

came home with another powerstroke truck!

its a rotten pile but has minty chrome front diesel bumper , a pile of new suspension parts, new alt/starter and fuel pump. how was I supposed to say no? it isn't running but engine looks clean so I'm going to stick a couple used batteries into it this week and maybe get Dave to come and scan it for me .

it almost sounds like the other 96 I got that runs and drives awesome now.

now I have all the F250 driveline/brake parts to complete the PSD bronco with destroying anything drivable. I'll try and get some pics of it.

it was a good day , dolly was a piece of junk!!!!!

cheers James

well its got fuel pressure at the filter head, has one burnt glow plug wire at the R front bank plug through the rocker cover gasket, but that will only screw up one bank. switched a known good (new) crank sensor and nothing. cranks normal as a diesel with compression. so I will probably pull the rocker cover and inspect. I don't have much into it, but would like to hear it run and check out the trans before I tear it apart..........................

we'll see what happens this week, my buddy that works at Ford dealer in Kincardine is coming on Sat. I'll see if he can communicate with it and tell me whats up.
