In A Truck, But...

Sorry everyone, it's not a Ford. I hope that you won't all hate me, but I bought a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 4 X 4. I was looking around and I found this one at a good price. Most of the Fords I saw either needed more work then I wanted to do, or had way more kms on it then I really wanted. I went and tried the Dodge out and liked it, the price was right, so I bought it.
We still have our Escape, so at least there is a Ford still in the family. My wife's family all like their Dodges, so I had to fit in somehow.
I just tell them that you can't always have the best, so I had to settle for the next best thing.
Maybe I'll keep it long enough that I can save money and then go buy a much newer Ford. Anyway, hope I can still meet up with everyone from time to time.

Im not going to comment on some of the other engines we have in the line up, however the hemi( current) is a damn good engine. We rarely ever see a problem with them, if there is one its customer caused. The older Magnums, 5.2 and 5.9 were very under powered compared to the fords and gms at the time.

No, the Dodge is a green one. The Escape is Black.
I'll bring the Escape to any meets.
As I mentioned it was not a bad price and it's road worthy. I still think the Ford is a better truck, but I had a price limit to buy in, and got what I could afford right now.
One day, I hope to be back in the Ford.
I'll do my best to still be posting here. I want to learn what I can about Ford trucks anyway.

hahaha, sorry for the confusion...

it's just that there's been a lifted Dodge Ram at the base Canex for sale in the past few days. Guy wanted 6 grand for what looked to be a 98 or close. Tires weren't spectacular, lift wasn't excessive... but it looked clean
