Had A Mini GTG Today

Today was the day that Dave (SKRWZ) dropped his truck off for Winter storage and just after 3pm, I heard what I thought was Dave's truck, only to go outside and find Shawn's Sportruk sitting in front of the shop.

Shawn decided the truck needed to go for a drive today, so he drove up here and surprised me. Dave showed up just after 4pm ( An hour late I might add) and we just shot the breeze for a few hours.

Shawn also took about 40 pics of his truck as the lighting and sky made for some sweet pics.

Here are a few that I took.

These 2 pics are SWEEEEEET!!!!

This will be the first year since bought my truck new in '98 not driving it in the winter it will different, I was surprised to see Shawn there when I showed up, good seeing him again, and I also had the opportunity to take a close look at Jim's Dad's Coronet and wow is that an impressive car that alone was worth the drive

I had no idea Shawn was coming over Gordon. If I did, I could have posted and you and Martin could have stopped by.

Remember Martin, you are welcome to stop by anytime, so next time there is some good weather, call me or email and you can come see the Coronet.

That truck started out as a bone stock 88 F150 and pretty much every square inch of it has been modified in some way. He just grafted the Lightning front end on it last Winter and only finished it at the end of July.

You need to come to the next gtg we have and see it in person. It's quite amazing!!
