Long Time

Hi everyone.

Hope you're all doing well. I know it's been a long time since I've been on here. Guess at times I feel a little out of place now, driving a Dodge Truck. I like it, but I am still a Ford truck guy at heart. I've tried getting back into a Ford, but luck hasn't been with me.
About a month ago or more, I bought a 96 F-150 with the inline 6, 2wd. It was a nice looking truck, but when I went to get her safetied, she needed more money then I was prepared to put into her. The person who sold it to me wasn't entirely honest with me. I ended up selling off to someone else and lost money on it too.

For now I figure I may as well just fix the Dodge up, instead of blowing money on getting other trucks that need work. We still have our Ford Escape though, and loving it. But, that is the main vehicle in the house and my wife uses it. I keep saying when my Canada Savings bonds mature in about 5yrs, I'll take that money and will hopefully have some extra cash that I can maybe get a 05/06 style.

Anyway, wanted to let you all know I hadn't forgotten about you all. Had a good time that day you all came to Kingston. Still wear my Ford Tough.ca hat, even when I do drive the Dodge.

Will try to keep checking in to see what all is going on.

Take care

It's a 94 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4. It's got 162,000kms on it, so part of the reason for fixing it right now.

better late than never, the prices on ford trucks seam to be staying up there for anything worth buying.

Yes, it has a 318 in it. That was one reason for buying the Dodge. The Ford trucks that were worth buying, were more then I was able to spend at the time. The ones that were affordable, were questionable for condition. Oh, well still one Ford in the family with the Escape.
