I bought a set of black rubber mats from Canadian Tire, there ok but they tend to slide around under your feet from time to time.

In winter I place a mexican blanket to cover all the carpeted areas. Then I place some thick black matts ( Crappy Tire) on top.

Keeps the dirt and mud from getting into the carpet. Been doing this for 8 years and works great.

Velcro works.

There's also a plastic tab on the floor to keep the factory matts in place - just punch a hole in aftermarket matts and slip over the tab - that will keep them from sliding up under the pedals.

I have the husky floor liners in my vehicles, they work awesome and the carpet never gets dirty.
