What I have been up to....

Haven't been on here much since last season.
Had about 1000kms on the truck, punched the throttle real hard....BOOM there went 2 coconuts (pistons). Turns out there was some debris in the lower intake....certain shop did not take the time to clean out the lower before install, and here I am, again!

ANYWAY, no time to dwell on things of the past.

So, after the 2nd motor going poop, I had to seriously consider what it was I needed to do. Luckily enough for me, I had a friend and awesome shop owner sit me down and agree that enough was enough, we would get it done PROPER this round.

SO, I sold my supercharger, pulleys, belts and longtube headers. I had the block honed as we were LUCKY there was no debris damage, just a quick deglazing. I had 2 new pistons installed, new bearings, and the heads cleaned up, they checked out OK as well. Also sold the blower cams as well.

NOW, I ended up getting front mount turbo headers, custom turbo cams, a billet 76mm turbo, blow off valve recirculated, BA3000 MAF, and a whole bunch of custom work.

Currently, we are slowly working our way forward. I am expecting the truck ready for start-up tune by end of April/early May.

Here are some pics

I will need an entire fuel system down the road to be REALLY able to turn up the wick, the stock lines, 97 rails/adjustable regulator and 60# injectors will get me to the 650rwhp safely before I start running out of fuel.

Also, my tranny, I am hoping it holds together for the dyno tuning session. I need it to stay together for another couple years so I can at least drive and enjoy the truck again.

Down the road I will throw in a beefy tranny. Regardless, I should never have to worry about power, when everything is working in tune with one another, this set-up should be capable of 800-900 RWHP.

Sorry to hear about the misfortunes along the way, but good to hear things are on the right track now.

Awesome truck, fantastic work, love the custom airbrush work on the valve covers. Welcome back.

801A - 6550 lb bundle of joy

Not a clue yet. Right now the truck is still under the knife, cab has been up and down I don't know how many times now LOL.

Nothings welded yet. Still fabbing/test fitting etc. Once all that is frimed up, it's getting welded and all the hot side piping out for ceramic coating.

No cat, a magnaflow 4" muffler and we are welding in dual 4" slash tips at the side exit to resemble a stock appearance.

02 sims will be installed as well....thought is that new E test with the plug in readyness check will get us passed.

BOV is being recirculated, so unfortunately no sound!

We are recirc'ing it for simplicity reasons really.

By the looks of that turbo "What boost levels? - As much as you like"

Are you going front mount Air - Air or Water to Air cooler?

EDIT: Using the SC Intercooler between the heads? ..
