Not 100% sure on the engine on my stand now. I was told it was around 300,000kms. I'm doing a partial rebuild on it and dropping it in my 350 for now. I just bought a parts truck with almost 500,000 kms on that 6.9. I plan on a full rebuild and a turbo for it. But i'm only a shade tree mechanic, so we'll see how far I get. Once I get this diesel dropped in my gasser the next challenge will be converting it from auto to manual transmission.

I will. I'm taking lots of pictures, mostly to help me get things back together, but some of the better ones I will try to post on here if I can figure out how to do it.

Maybe now that this thread has started other 6.9 or 7.3 IDI owners will join in?
