Edge EVO and Tranny Problems...Edge users come in please.

Can someone put this to bed? I've scrolled through some of the old threads and there is piles of hearsay about the Edge causing problems in Transmissions. I'd like to get an Evo tuner, I've read lots of good things. Ford Performance Truck Mag picked up quite a bit of RWHP with it on the highest setting. I'm not super excited about the fact that it stiffens up the shifts.

Can I tone the shifts down while still using the Engine adjustments?

How much sharper are the shifts? I'm concerned about unnecessary wear on the tranny if I sharpen the shifts up a pile.

Comments? I'd really love to have one but Tranny damage makes me nervous.

I have had mine for a few monthes now and I have no problems, I put it on level 3 and custom tune for tire size and that's it, it shift perfect not hard or anything....You can also bring shift firmness up or down in custom tune level 3 but you have to use high octane gas on level 3....

My tranny has many miles on it and no probs yet....I also did a full trany flush and new filter before I installed the tuner (the diffs too, new oil)

I only drive in the city, to get out of it!!!

I am getting reverse issues (hesitates into reverse) but that might because I might need tranny flush and filter. 88k's to date with 33" mud tires, that it.
