New Toy for the Garage

I ordered a new toy about and hour ago from summit racing I had some points there ready to expire so I thought what the heck and ordered a sandblasting cabinet, I always wanted one of these Looks big enough to do wheels or intake manifolds etc...

Would it not be cheaped to just go to Princess Auto then to do the cross border thing? My friend has one from Princess Auto, it works great but, it needed to get a air dryer for moisture. He uses glass bead in it.

Actually it's still cheaper to get it across the river the cabinet cost 209.95 they sent me a 30.00 coupon that I used they usually give free shipping ( I am ship to the states where I can pick it up ) but you have to pay a 11.50 handling charge but in this case it was the usual 11.50 handling and because it's oversize it's 7.50 for shipping, not too bad because they only have that in Nevada so not too bad 19.00 from Nevada and then it's 14% at the border so I figure roughly 226.80 after it's all done I was looking at one at Princess auto but they wanted 350.00 and after tax that would be about 399.00 or so I figure I saved about 172.20 doing it this way

Love the sandblaster! You're going to make a lot of new friends with that!

Yeah, you pretty much always have to have at least some kind of inline water seperator (and oil, depending on the compressor), installed as close as possible to the sandblaster. They work well and they're cheap. Just remember to drain it regularly. An actual air dryer system would sort of be overkill for a sandblaster, not to mention really expensive.

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

I still have to hook up my new compressor.... lol... I have a water separator from my old compressor and a new air drier (from princess auto) that needs to be hooked up when I get around to it so it should be all good in the end got the air drier for 40 or 50 bucks on sale so it wasn't too bad
