clunk when taking off from stopped position

when taking off from stopped position I feel a loose clunk in the drive train. Feels like the sloppy play when towing a trailer. I have an 08/f-350 with a 6.4 lrt engine, I was told it was the shear angle in the drive shaft. ANy body ever experience this?

Try greasing the slip yoke.

I had this problem with my 09 . There is a TSB on this with Ford .
They call it Slip / Bump ? I think they corrected the problem by
doing what LooseWheel mentioned.

Load It Like A Railcar........................... Drive It Like A Stockcar..........................

Garage
1. Slip yoke 2. Hanger bearing, if it has one. 3. Differencial gear lash 4. U-joint or CV-joint, whichever applies. Not necessarily checked in that order. Standard or auto?
