Which Tranny

Just curious if anyone knows the exact model of transmission that i would find in my truck. The reason im looking is because i am looking at getting a new tranny pan when i install the temp sensor, and was looking at the mag hytec site but wanted to make sure i get the right one. My truck is a 2004 F150 FX4 5.4L.

it's either a 4R70E or 4R75E according to my Haynes manual. i'm guessing the 4R75E because of the 5.4 engine. any other care to chime in?

Meh, ive already got the guage, and its hopefully gonna turn out really good. But with that said, im also curious if i can tap into the existing temp sensor in the tranny for my guage. It actually mentions that in the instructions for the autometer guage. Hopefully ill have some pics of my guage pod once its finished. Its kind of a custom piece since i cant find anyone who makes one that goes in the middle on top of the dash where that one place is where i always put my gum. A little bit of fiberglass, vinyl, and some patience and it should turn out good. Its also going to have a wideband O2 guage, as well as a vac/boost guage. The boost side is for the comming project.
