3.55 gears with 33's

Hey I'm planning on purchasing some 33" tires for my 5.4 with 3.55's. I do tow/haul a bit but nothing crazy heavy. Does anyone think it's worth regearing for or should it be alright? Thanks.

What is tow/haul a bit? 3.55's is already terrible gears for towing. What is your stock tire size? I say it will be marginal at best, for towing or hauling anything.

VMP and 5-Star tuned no more

I own a small construction business on the side and haul tools, lumber, junk, etc. I tow a cargo trailer full of tools from time to time, it's not my full tie job so I'm only doing this a bit. I might be doing it a lot more in the future though, things are getting busy and I might leave my current job. Stock tire size is 255 70 17 (31") pretty standard stock size on these trucks.

for milage it should be ok,but will lack slightly in bottom end torque, also don't forget to recalibrate pcm for tire size as it will cause all kind of problems(the 93 460 i just bought was a total dog and the speedo was a way out cause someone calibrated wrong, now i can't keep tires from roasting)

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

the stock tires on a 2004-2009 fx4 even the new f150 are 33s i think there 285/65/18. witch is close to a 33. 35s fit with the leveling kit.

Stock tire size on an 04+ FX4 is 275/65/18 which is a 32.1" tire. I think most of the new 4x4 F150's have tires in that general size range. 33's and 3.55's will be fine I think.
