Late Xmas present

I had to wait till after Xmas to get this, but glad I did.

Old & busted:

New hotness:

Also Dave I've got some parts you can use to experiment with in your new sandblast cabinet. I've got my old crank pulley and the old diff cover. If you want them I'll bring them to the next meet.

Thanks guys...yeah much stronger that stock. The load bolts will keep things solid inside. I was starting to notice that whine coming back once you get over 60kph but now its nice and quiet. I had to take it to my mechanic because the cover bolts are a weird 12 pointed thing and I wasn't able to find anyplace that had the right tool in stock. Only charged me $30 since I supplied the parts/rear diff fluid. With the cover off we checked the tru-trac and gears and they still look new, no shavings in the old fluid. Guess I was just being overly cautious about that whine but considering how $$$ the rear cost me better to check it that to risk breaking it.

Dave I'll bring those parts to the next meet.
