shakey inside rearview mirror fix

somthing that drove me nuts in my 95 merc and my 01 f150 - the mirror with no set screw to tighten it to the mount on the windshield

seems a rear view mirror from any 80's dodge fwd car will fit the mount on the windhsield
- and they have a set screw to tighten them up too

I discovered they fit when I tryed the mirror I have from a lebaron convert that has map lights in the bottom of it - which was what I was after at the time

in fact mine fit so well it won't shake even if the screw isn't tightened

The rear-view in my GP sucked , even with the stock stereo it moved. The One in my Mazda 3 is damn near invincible! 2 15's in a ported box in a hatch and doesn't budge. The one in my 09' (truck) doesn't budge. What are you running in your 01' to have the mirror shake that bad?
