I know why you'd probably think that, but it's up to you what you want to think, I don't want to argue or try to prove anything.

No I don't know a Neil. I know many Bobs, so not sure where this is going.

Neil and Bob.....LMFAO. It's not their names, it's what they do.

Nice plug for a first post, I'm buying it.

I'm pretty surprised at the cynical and negative reception as a new member here, from two mods no less. All I did was put up some advice for other members. I guess maybe this might not be the forum I thought it was, and maybe I should be posting elsewhere.

Sounds like a good deal though, drive your truck for two or three years, go to this guy and get it re-zero'd.

Drive for another year and then trade in with 20,000km on it instead of 80,000 km. Nice.

Blair's right, we're not cynical or negative, but we do have a sense of humour.

First post as an ad or shout out is suspicious. One and done, thanks for dropping by.

I wanted to post a personal recommendation for anyone that has problems with their odometer, like a corrupted reading, wrong reading, or if you're needing the proper odometer mileage set after getting a new cluster.

Last year, for some reason my odometer on my F150 got all corrupted and wouldn't work properly. I ended up getting another cluster, a used one and of course it had a different mileage reading on it. I needed the correct mileage set so I found this guy's ad on craigslist or Kijiji while searching around. Anyways, I contacted him, he said he could put the correct mileage on it. The price was reasonable, especially given that I didn't want to go to a shop or dealer. Plus I don't personally know shops in the Calgary area that do this for a good price. He was a really nice guy, and he put the correct mileage on my new cluster as promised. Since then it's been working great. He does pretty much any vehicles around 1999 and up.

So if any of you boys are looking for this kind of service, just email him, his email is [email protected]. His name is Nick, if you want you can tell him Jim told you about him.
Oh come on. I got half way through the second line when I had the EXACT same thoughts as the mods. Great way to intriduce yourself to the forum.

Oh come on guys can't you see this new member is just trying to let us know of a superior service. I'm sure he has every intention of being a valuable member of this forum. His wealth of knowledge is probably immense! You guys are scaring a new member away. Welcome aboard friend!

You would think that if this was a legit and legal business that he would advertise somewhere or anywhere else other than craigslist or Kijiji. A quick google search came up with jack on the name. Oh wait tampering with an odometer is illegal in Alberta too.
