Anyone Close To Me Able To Hold My Hand?

Well not really hold it, but I do need help/advise with a small project. I have purchased a stainless steel instrument cluster bezel, and the white glow guage insert for the cluster. I have never taken a cluster apart, and Im told its not the type of job for a beginner.. Its supposedly really easy to screw up the guages or put the needles back on incorrectly making them read wrong... I could use a hand if someone has done this before...

PS- I have BEER to share while working...

I will give it a couple of days, before I beg/plead/grovel.. After that I will make the attempt myself if I can find some reasonably good instructions... Anyone know any tips or pitfalls that I may encounter???

youd be surprised how easy it is. i did it the first time on my focus, it was fairly simple. its only held in by a screw or two and the rest is plastic clips. im guessing yours will be similar, the haynes shop manuals are very handy things to have, especially for tasks where taking apart stuff is going to happend. i got one myself, made taking apart the dash, doors, a-pillars and a lot of other things quite a bit easier. only thing you have to be careful of is not to pull the cluster out too far or hard becuase you'll snap the wires right out of their sockets.

It's been over 6 months since the last post... I'm guessing it worked or we would have heard about it.... and I bet the beer is gone too.
