2004 F150 Heater Problem

on my 2004 Ford F150..My heater only works on One setting which is 4...it doesnt turn on for the 1 , 2, or 3...Would anyone know what the problem is..thanks in advance..

Selector switch or your actuator, blower motor are things to consider, I had that problem on my 99 changed the actuator behind the panel near middle of the floor and it fixed my problem


I only drive in the city, to get out of it!!!

if it only works on high could be the resistor.

Have to agree on the resistor
Its the most common thing and the cheapest to check on

yah the resistor ,change mine sincei was missing 3rd speed ,worked likes a charm now

04 f150 extra cab,harley headl & tail lights,8000k hid kit,fx2 grill,recon smoked 3rd brake light ,tinted front windows,2.5 autospring front level kit,black powdercoated billet fuel door,hardwired garmin nuvi 250w,k&n drop in filter

what would i ask for if i was to buy a New resister? is it called a heater box Resistor?

Yes the part's department at the dealer will know what you mean they are common to go
