Heater Help

When i have my Heater Running on my 04 F150 Fx4...the only place the heat blows out is from the Vents..it dont blow out of the Defrost area on top of dash or anywheres else..What is going on with the truck...Any help would be APpreciated

Sounds like the blendor in the heater box is either broken or stuck

have had problems with the blend door motors on 04-05 f150's,it's behind the radio on top of heater box.

Thanks man..so i take the radio off and i can see the box..

yep the motor is on top of box,remove radio and switch blend control hot/ cold and see if it moves.

not to hijack the thread... but i have the 02 explorer and when the blowers on no matter what setting it always blows out on your feet and to the rear vents behind the center armrest... just wondering if this is normal....

this isn't normal sounds like the mode door is stuck/broken or the actuator isn't working,i will check manuals to see.

hi i did some referencing and on your system it is vaccuum controled,check and see if you have vacc at the tap behind glove box if not check at oneway valve under hood.
