Grab Handles

SO I just noticed that the 2010 trucks do not have a grab handle on the driver side to assist with entry/exit.

Anyone know why FORD decided to stop putting a handle on the driver side column ?

Anyone know if an older model handle (08 or so) would work ? I was hoping for an after market handle but cant find any that looks decent.

Why do you need a handle? Never use mine in the Ranger.

Mainly for getting in the truck ... nice to grab onto something when climbing in.

I don't have one in my 03. It did but I took it out. Gauges are way cooler than a grab handle. They are good to have though as my wife uses the one on her side all the time.

Just dont like the idea of 230lbs pulling on the steering wheel sideways. Don't think its designed to handle that kind of side stress . . .
