Angry interior light and dash lights

on my 2001 f150 the interior light stays on when the doors are closed what causes this? Also the the tail lights and dash lights come on even with the head light switch in the off position> any help would be nice:

How long does the interior lights stay on ? And do the tail lights go out after awhile ?

do you have auto headlights(will have extra reostat beside h/l switch or on mirror)

If the interior light stays on with the door closed it's because the button in the door jam is corroded and shorting out. This happened to me on my 1994 Ranger. However if your dash lights and tail lights are also on it sounds like you have a bad ground.
