pet covers?

I just bought a new superduty crew and my dog (big dog) has problems laying in the back. I used to have a Ram quad cab and the back seats lifted up just like the Fords but there was a fold out floor instead of the Ford's storage boxes. Does anybody know if there is something aftermarket i can get that will sit above the storage boxes and act like a floor where my dog can lay down. Or any other ideas?

You may have to make up a floor that can foldup. My goldie has the same problem, so I just made up a folding piece of plywood. It can fold and thrown in the back.

I got one of those dog kits from Costco that hooks up to the head rests and creates a "hammock" for the dog. I leave the seat down and use a seat belt harness to keep Thor safe. See photo. Thor is about 100 pounds ... he loves it!

That's a cool set up - makes for less dog hair in the interior to vacuum as well.

Pup looks pretty content with it.

I've got that same kind of setup as Jaak that we use in my wifes car and it's great. Dog loves it and keeps everything really clean.

It has pockets to hold water bottle as well as a bit of food and a doggie first aid kit. Cost was about $29 which is cheap insurance for the interior. Thor loves it and in the picture we were heading up to the cottage for a week of fishing east of Huntsville; his favorite place to go.

Sorry, was up North fishing. It was in the Costco store on the shelf. They get stocked every few months, so you will need to keep an eye out monthly. They may have it on line.
