DRL issue

Hey...not sure if it has happened to anybody else before but I have a '98 F150 4x4 and I turned on my truck today and when I shut it off the daytime running lights wouldn't shut off when I turned the truck off. I also noticed that the highbeam indicator stays on but when I turn the headlights on, it goes off. I had this issue once before but it fixed itself after a few minutes, I tried to disable the DRL by pulling the fuses but it stays on even with the fuses out, I pulled the highbeam fuse as well but that didn't help either, any help would be greatly appreciated. The battery is disconnected so I don't kill it. I fiddled around with the multi-switch as well but that didn't help either.

Do you have a timer switch for the DRL's I do on my 99 it's beside your interior light/dimmer switch if ther's two little wheels side by side you might have accidently rolled the switch on without noticing, they turn off so many minutes/seconds after you turn off your truck to let you see where your going at night so you don't trip over your neighbours cat, or run into a door....If it's that don't worry I did it before too.

I think he means when he turns off the truck the DRL's stay on, so it might just be the switch

If the high beam indicator on the dash is on after the truck is turned off and the lights are off I would say he DRL module needs to be replaced
