Replace/Upgrade Foglight bulbs 2005 F150

Hi all. Brand new here & so far it looks great. I just bought a 2005 F150 XLT SuperCrew 4x4 & 6 weeks later I destroyed a deer & the front end of my truck at the same time. As part of the repair I need new fog lights so I thought I would upgrade the bulb to something whiter & brighter. They are currently H10 9145 (42-45w) with the PY20D base & I was thinking of going with a 9155 (55w) xenon or something similar. Has anyone upgraded their bulbs & if so what did you go to & with what results. I don't want to go too powerful as I talked to one owner who melted his lenses using 85w bulbs. Thanks.

Stay away from Xenon (reason, bulbs are burning harness, and melting plugs

Wow, that was fast... Thanks. Is 55w okay to go with?
