leaf springs backwards compatible?'80 to '77

hey there everybody another newbie here wandering if the leafs froma 1980 f250 will fit a 1977 f250 so far research says no but i am wondering if anyone has done this and if there are any mods that need to be done to accomplish it ?

That could depend on the frame that the 77 has. There were 2 frames for the F250.

i found a set of 77springs so im just gonna go with them thanks tho
