Spring Shackles Final Done

finally got around to replacing my broken spring shackle today and yesterday, Spent yesterday grinding the old bolts out and today once I had some help was able to get the new shackle on and bolted up. Saved $175 doing it myself from a quote I got from a Ford mechanic who does side jobs!! All I'll say about the whole job is that it's a pain in the ass to do for the first time

Hey Jim about time you fixed the shackels, I did it the easy way and torched the rivets. But yes it's kinda a pain in the ass the first time with no help.

Good for you! Now you can finish my left rear shackle for me. It's even easier than yours was. Mine's all bolts and nuts. It's the spring eye bushing thats a pita.
