ABS light

The damn thing is stuck on. The brakes are perfect, I could stand Bullitt on his nose. I took it to the dealer and his answer was far too technical,"I don't Know".
It pisses me off driving after dark.

Any suggestions?

You need to scan it for codes first could just be a sensor

I just delt with this issue again on the 99 . The first time was just after I got the truck . That time it was a rear sensor . Just resently it was a front sensor aprox 350 .00 to replace .
Problem solved .

The dealer said it as not showing a code. He thinks its it's a short in the light. I'm going to take it to Blackstock. The Dealer in Guelph and Fergus, couldn't find their ass with both hands. If I could, I wouldn't set foot in a dealer. I'm into it, $400.oo already.

I had this issue back in '06 when I first got the truck. Seemed every second time I started the truck the ABS light would come on. After 4 trips back to the lot I got it from they finally farmed out the work to a shop who said it was a bad proportioning valve. They replaced it and the issue has never come back.

Whaddya mean I dont pay my bills?? Whydya think I'm broke!!

Ya, I thought of that. Black tape is cheap and quick. Taking the dash apart, cheap, not so quick. It's done, and I know that the brakes are good.
