What lift kit to get?

Hi all. Well I'm now looking for a lift kit. What I did was I put on a set of Bushwacker flares on the truck , because I could not keep the truck clean during this wet and snowy winter. But now my front tires rub on the flares and I don't want to cut the flares and I don't want a body lift.

I'm sure all I need is a 2" lift, but I can't find a full 2"lift. So what 4" lift is good out there that will work and look good and not affect my warranty. Or would you recommend me get a little taller lift?

2012 FX4 5.0 SuperCrew, Magna Flow, dual exhaust, G2 folding hardtop, 60" rear brake/turn light, SCT/ITSX, 295/60R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers, 5star pro tune, N-Fab Pre-Runner Light Bar, 3 9" Hella Rallye 4000 lights, 6" Pro Comp Suspension Lift, K/N Cold Air Kit...

Which bushwackers did you go with? I have the extend-a-fender ones with LT305/70R17 extreme mt2 tires and zero rub with my 2" ready lift. Rancho makes a nice 4" kit though as well as rough country for a decent price. Rough country also sells a complete 2.5" kit (front and rear) for a couple hundred bucks.

I honestly don't think you could do a 4" suspension lift and not have warranty issues if something happened.

That being said, props for taking the suspension path over a body lift.

I'd do either a 2.5" spacer front and back, or go to a full 4-6" lift. The full lift will run you $2500ish for parts alone.
Depends on budget, look, and use.

Are you sure your fenders are on correctly?

What size tire ate your running?

Ahh.
Tapatalk doesn't show sig's

In that case, usually 2.5" lift won't quite be enough either when your at full turn.

34"+ tires usually require at least a 4" if not a 6. The cost difference between a 4 to a 6 isn't much.

This is the flare I put on the truck.

I should mention that I have this style of rim on the truck now as well. 20" rim

I have also ordered this part, and it should have been installed on the truck already. But they shipped up the wrong one. I guess the Mexican's don't know the difference between Ford and Chevy.

Well to give you some updates. I called 4wheel parts in Burlington and they don't sell the rough country anymore and they could not give me quote on it for me. He will be giving me a quote later on when I get my light bar installed. So I went and found a place called. Overdrive auto in Kitchener that sell the rough country lift kit, and this is what he told me. This sounds a little pricy for me. I will let you know what 4wheel parts will charge for the lift install.

We sell the kit for $1699 plus tax.

1. Install: We would need the truck for 2 full days. The labour cost would be $990 plus tax. This includes all labour and complete 4 wheel alignment with printout.

The install assumes your truck is in good condition and would not require any other parts. Any additional parts and related labour would be extra.

Regards,
Michael
