shocks + leveling

if I were to install blistein adjustable shocks and a 2.5"leveling kit would that get me an even higher lift than 2.5" in the front end?

No. Shocks do nothing to give extra lift, the adjustable factor is the dampening factor (making it seem stiffer or softer over bumps and in cornering). Springs, wether leaf or coil, are what is going to give you extra lift. Hope that helps.

Personally, I wouldn't use them together, it would be either one or the other all you are doing is putting too much stress on your ball joints and Cv's and creating a weak link, if you need shocks the adjustable Bilstiens would be a nice way to go

For 2004-2008 F 150's Bilstien makes a shock that is adjustable 0"-2.5" so you can use their shock instead of a leaving kit on the 4WD models
