2008 Limited

Hey guys, i just had a quick question.

I think White Pearl could probably answer it, but i'm sure a few of you would know too.

Anyway i was looking at f-150's and came across a limited for sale around here, before i go see it i have a few questions.

Is it awd? i can't find anything ANYWHERE about the drivetrain on these, i'm sure its not 4wd. So if that is the case and it is awd, all you living in canada know what kinda winters we get.

How does awd perform vs. against a regular 4x4? i wanna be able to go out and blast through snow drifts and just have fun, up until awhile ago i drove a new silverado with 4x4, but got rid of it.

But i've never driven anything with awd so i have no idea what to expect

thanks to anyone that answers!

Yes it is AWD and 4Hi selected with a switch
AWD is amazing, I think the best system out of all the trucks and I drove all of them

There is no wheel spin at all (Rain or shine)

Snow is different, when you floor it it does spin, but the best out of all the truck (must be the weight)

IN the U.S.A. you can get a 2wd or AWD Limited but up here only AWD

so basically, if it just snowed. you can turn it over to 4HI, and it would perform the exact same as a regular f150 4x4?

im just worried it would be more of a all show, no go when it counts type thing.

like if i need to get to work, i want to have the comfort knowing that i can drive through the snow without worrying about getting stuck

if you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it. I'm sure you bought it new, my local dealer has what im assuming is a demo or a management driven one with 2,000 km on it.

but they don't have a price listed

My HD 150 is also AWD and it's great in the snow, only needed 4H once last year even in all that snow.
