2011 SVT Raptor

Finally got a break in the crappy Bruce County weather to pick up my new Raptor S-Cab this afternoon.

Got the 6.2 (411hp, 434 ft/lbs) standard, and went with the Nav System, Sunroof, Step Tailgate, and Molten Orange inserts for the interior.

On to the pics.......

Very first mod was replacing the orange reflector on the mirrors with a plain trim piece, and installing a shorty antennae before it even left the lot.

Overall first impressions...at random.

I thought the FX4 sat high.....Raptor feels even higher.

Tuxedo Black paint has more metallic flake than I thought - quite stunning in the right light actually.

The rear end is "hippier" than it looks in any of the pics I've seen.

Sounds amazing - haven't had much of a chance to get on the gas too hard as the roads are mostly snow covered and icy.

Consistent theme for the majority of features in the centre stack, from Nav to Sirius radio to Climate controls, mostly the same as my '09 FX4.

Added bonus I didn't expect - power rear sliding window and power folding mirrors.

The inevitable question......future mods? lol

Already did the reflectors on the backs of the mirrors, shorty antennae, got the Ford boxliner and hard folding tonneau installed before pickup.

Ordered the FRPP light bar, four 8" Halogens and chrome exhaust tips for the hell of it last week.....considering the black FRPP Raptor wheels in the future.

Priority #1 will be to get those front two windows tinted.....hogdusts pics of his tint job has got me committed to having the front and back tint match!!

Nice truck!

If I can win the wife over on one (and the bank) I wanna get the screw edition. But will need a beater too drive to work as I don't think 110kms a day on the highway is going to be cheap on gas. Lol

But love the truck. And yes... Future mods?

Congrats and welcome to the Raptor club lol

It feels like you are dirving a Tank, right?

Wish I had the power folding mirrors.

Enjoy
