i almost bought another truck

i almost bought another truck yesterday a 1997 ford f150 4x4 with only 115000 kl but trannt is no good body very bad shape and box is rotten very bad underneath and no more breaks i would of got it for 400.00 dollars but i said no and i will put more money in my old truck

For 400.00, you could have bought it and flipped it for a profit maybe...or parted it out.

Must have been some pretty serious abuse heaped on that truck for it to be in that kind of shape with only 115,000km on it.

Was it a fleet vehicle or something?? Sounds like it's a better candidate for the scrapyard......lol

no it was not used as a fleet truck or company truck its all the salt out their in the winter out here is very bad the floor on the passenger side was more rotten then the driver side and the box on the passenger side to the cross member in the front was all gone and the box was down almost 2 inches in the front of the box. the motor and the chrome rims were the only good thing left on it he said the tranny was slipping a littles when the tranny is hot if my truck would of been a 4.6 romeo engine i would of brought it home and taken engine out and put in my truck but i have the 4.2
