power windows swap

do you think it is possable to swap power windows out of a 98 f150 xcab xlt to a 98 f150 reg cab XL? is the wire for the windows and lock ran by there own harness or does it tie in to the main ? or is it cheaper and easy to wire in aftermarket and use oem power door panels?

You should be able to do that swap no problem the power window harness should tie into the main harness to the truck

IF the truck didn't come with power windows there would be no wiring in the doors for them, you would have to add the wiring from a donor truck along with the switches and window motors etc, the door wiring should plug into the main harness somewhere close to where it goes into the body from the door

I would believe each harness would plug in to each side of the harness LS to LS RS to RS
