Post Stainless Steel Brake Lines

This morning driving to work the brakes went out on my truck. Stepped on the peddle and it went to the floor. I had the truck towed to a repair shop here in kingston and it turns out a steel brake line rusted out and I need to replace all the brake lines. They are going to replace one line so I can get the truck home. So my question is has any body here been able to find preformed stainless or steel lines for the older model pickups . To do these by hand will be time consuming and exspensive . I did a little reaserch on this a while back but could not find a suppler . Let me know your thoughts .

Thanks
Larry

Check out Inlinetube.com or Classictube.com. I bought a full set for my Bronco from Inline and was very happy happy with service and price (right around $200). I also got the optional stainless fittings.

Get the braided stainless flex lines while your at it. You would be surprised at how much it stiffens the pedal up with out that rubber expanding

the only things holding you back are fear and common sense

Yeah, for sure get the braided hoses. I forgot I bought those too (thanks for the reminder hihosilver). Got those from Earls, which is a division of Holley.

Stainless steel brake lines should be standard from the factory IMO. Another cost saving feature that we all wished for.
